Today was unseasonable warm and humid, so I decided to go ahead and set up Fiona's pool. She jumped right in even though the water was a little cool. I did add some warm water, but it didn't seem to bother her! She had a blast. She laughed and giggled as she poured water over herself.
Unfortunately her time in the water was short as it started thundering after about 15 minutes. She wasn't happy that I made her get out. She kept trying to climb back in. Luckily tomorrow is supposed to be warm again so she'll get more time in the pool.
Earlier in the day she helped me do some gardening. I had to laugh at her outfit. She insisted on wearing her Easter hat and her rain boots. This past weekend we got her some of her own gardening gloves and a wheelbarrow. She loves to help me weed. I pop up the dandelions and she puts them in the bin. We also planted some veggies: potatoes, onions, garlic and just for her, we planted some sunflowers. Hopefully the squirrels won't eat the heads before they have a chance to really bloom.
